Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how ExtractAI uses cookies and similar browser storage on extractai.org. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some are set by us; others are set by payment, security, or sign-in providers when you use those features.

2. Cookies we set

The table below lists the main cookies and storage used by ExtractAI.

  • access_token (ExtractAI) — keeps you signed in during an active session. Strictly necessary. Duration: about 15 minutes. HttpOnly; sent only over HTTPS in production.
  • refresh_token (ExtractAI) — renews your session without asking you to log in again on each visit. Strictly necessary. Duration: about 7 days. HttpOnly.
  • locale (ExtractAI) — remembers your language choice (English, Russian, or Spanish). Functional. Duration: up to 1 year.

3. Third-party cookies and similar technologies

These services may set their own cookies or use local storage when you interact with them:

  • Paddle — when you open checkout for a subscription or pay-as-you-go credits, Paddle may set cookies to process payment, prevent fraud, and complete the purchase.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — on registration, Turnstile may use cookies or browser signals to distinguish legitimate users from bots.
  • Google — if you use Sign in with Google, Google may set authentication cookies according to your Google account settings.
  • Google Fonts — loading fonts may cause your browser to connect to Google servers.
  • Tawk.to — our live chat widget may set cookies or use browser storage to run chat sessions and remember visitors between page views.

4. Analytics and marketing cookies

ExtractAI does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar marketing trackers on the application. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting non-essential tracking cookies.

5. How to control cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (access_token and refresh_token) are required to stay logged in. If you block them in your browser, you will not be able to use authenticated features.

You can delete or block other cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the locale cookie will reset your language preference. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent Paddle checkout, Google sign-in, or Turnstile from working correctly.

Most browsers also support "Do Not Track"; we do not respond to DNT signals because we do not operate cross-site advertising trackers.

6. Updates and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology or providers change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
